View access rights by reference

This portlet displays all people that have a valid badge and currently have rights to a particular access group or belong to particular company or department. All person types will appear in the grid, including visitors.

1. Select Menu => View => Access Rights by Reference

2. Select search by access group

When the portlet first opens search by access group will be displayed but the grid will be empty until one or more access groups are selected.  

2.1. Select one or more access groups

Either use the drop down list (1) to select one or more access groups.  Alternatively click into the combo box and type to search for the required access group (2) and click on the value in the list to add it to the combo box (3).

2.2. Click into the grid

Click out of the combo box and data will appear in the grid.  All people that currently have one of the chosen access groups assigned will appear.  If two access groups are selected and a person has both, the person will appear twice in the grid.  Note:  If the access group has been expired for the person they will not be displayed.  The person will only display if they currently have a valid badge.

Data displayed is badge number (current valid badge for person), person id, first name, last name, access group code, access group description, person type, department code, department name, company code and company name.  

2.3. Use more options to filter

Data can be filtered via more options by access group, person type or department.   Alternatively the keyword search can be used.  

3. Select search by department

Select department from the search by drop down list (1).  One or more departments can be entered into the combo box (2).  The grid will display all access groups currently assigned to every person in the selected department(s).

4. Select search by company

Select company from the search by drop down list (1).  One or more companies can be entered into the combo box (2).  The grid will display all access groups currently assigned to every person in the selected companies.
