Add access profile

Access profiles can be assigned to people either via the maintain access profile portlet or via the ACP.  A person's access profile is a list of all assigned access groups with corresponding time profiles.  Access Groups are constructed in the Admin Configure Access Group portlet.   The active date/time indicates from when the person will be able to have access through the readers in the access group.  Once the expiry date/time is reached, the person will no longer have access.

Note: Default access groups can be assigned to people automatically.  This is setup in the Configure Access Group portlet and can be assigned by person type or zone.

1. Select person

Either select the person via the ACP or the person combo at the top of the access profile portlet.  Use the photo and department information to ensure the correct person is selected.

The key icon will open the access profile portlet filtered by person.

3. Click add button

4. Enter new access profile information

Access Group (required) can be selected by using drop down arrow or typing in the combo to search.  Select the appropriate time profile for the person’s access (this can be left blank – which will mean the person will always have access).  The active date time will default to the current date and time and can be changed as required.  Expiry Date / time can be populated if required.  

5. Click save
