Introduction
The tdsaccess system is portlet driven software that runs on a web browser. The user utilises menu links to simultaneously open and position any number of data portlets on a working dashboard. All of the portlets operate in the same straightforward manner thus enabling the user to become comfortable using the system quickly.
This section of the manual provides an overview of the functionality used throughout tdsaccess menus and portlets.
1. Open web browser, select tdsaccess link and enter login details
Google Chrome is the recommended browser by TDS. If Single Sign On is configured for the client the login screen will not be displayed.

2. View the tdsaccess dashboard
Previously opened portlets will automatically be opened in the dashboard section of tdsaccess (1).
Note: All users of tdsaccess are initially granted default access rights. This gives the user restricted access. A user with manager role rights needs to use the Admin - User Management portlet and setup the user with the correct user role.
