Find the person's temporary badge record.  This will display at the top of the portlet once the person is selected and will have a status of valid.  Alternatively use the keyword search to type in the temporary badge number.  

Note: The issue temporary badge icon will be greyed out (1), as a person cannot have a new temporary badge assigned against an existing temporary badge.  To issue a second temporary badge, the existing one needs to be reclaimed first.    

This will set the person’s original forgotten badge back to valid and reclaim the temporary badge.  The temporary badge is now available to be assigned to someone else.
