Menu navigation panel
The tdsaccess system operates by a menu that lists all portlets grouped by function. Any number of portlets can be opened simultaneously and positioned as the user requires either in the overall dashboard or in their own maximised tabs.
1. Click on the navigation menu

The menu border runs down the left of the screen. Click on any section of the menu to open or close the menu navigation panel.
2. View the list of menu headings

The Menu headings appropriate for the user's role permissions will be displayed.
Maintain menu is for portlets pertaining to maintenance of person data. Task menu is for everyday tasks. View is to view and export detailed data from tdsaccess. Report displays summarised view of data often with graphs. Admin is for portlets for general maintenance of tdsaccess. Help menu provides links to user manuals and information about tdsaccess.
3. Click on any menu heading to display links to individual portlets

The portlets displayed under the menu heading depend on the user's role permissions. Click on a link to open the corresponding portlet. The new portlet will open in the left bottom section of the dashboard, below any currently open portlets.
4. An information message will appear in the bottom right

An information message will appear in the bottom right of the dashboard whenever a new portlet is opened.
